The role of the school counselor is to work with students, teachers, parents and administration to help ensure that students' educational, vocational, and emotional needs are being met. School counselors provide criss intervention services and individual and group counseling to help all students develop their educational, social, career and personal strengths.

Personal: I grew up in Egan, South Dakota and attended Egan High School (Go Bluejays!) I am the youngest of 13 children. My husband and I married in 1987 and moved to the East Coast where we lived in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. We had two children and when we moved back in 1998 we added two more children to our family.
Education: I earned my Bachelor's of Science and Master's of Science degrees from SDSU (Go Jacks!). I've held my current position at Ipswich School since Fall 2005.
Things I Enjoy: Children, Sudoku, pizza, campfires, dark chocolate, puzzles and music.
