Shot Put and Discus Coach

Ipswich Athletic Department is currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Shot Put and Discus Coach to join our staff. This position offers the flexibility of being either part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate's availability and our program's needs.

Previous coaching experience in shot put and discus at the high school, collegiate, or club level preferred.

In-depth knowledge of shot put and discus techniques, training methods, and competition strategies.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with athletes of varying skill levels.

Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to reach their full potential.

Understanding of injury prevention and sports psychology principles.

Willingness to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.

Valid coaching certifications/licenses preferred (will need to be completed by start of season).
