Mrs. Kulesa's Government Class Goes to Pierre

What an incredible experience for the Ipswich Government Class and their teacher Mrs. Angie Kulesa

The group traveled to Pierre for a hands-on civics adventure, where they toured the Capitol building, visited the GoPro exhibit, and were recognized in both chambers of the South Dakota Legislature. Talk about learning coming to life.

To top it all off, the students had the opportunity to take a photo with Governor Larry Rhoden and Lt. Governor Tony VanHuisen — a moment they won’t soon forget.

Proud of these students for representing Ipswich so well and grateful for educators like Mrs. Kulesa who make experiences like this possible. The future looks bright when classrooms extend all the way to the Capitol.
