Outstanding commitment to our community and school of Ipswich

Congratulations to Mr. Osborne on receiving the South Dakota High School Activities Association Distinguished Service Award. Mr. Osborne was presented a plaque at last weekends State Boys Basketball Tournament at NSU (his Alma-Mater).
Below is the write up from the program:
As the child of lifelong educators who dedicated their careers to guiding youth of South Dakota, Trent Osborne always knew the value of service through education. Following in their footsteps, he began his career in 1995 as a teacher and coach in Leola, South Dakota, and is now in his 26th year in Ipswich, where he has served as a teacher, coach, and administrator.
Over his 31-year career, Trent has been honored to contribute to South Dakota Activities through his involvement on numerous committees and advisory groups for golf, volleyball, cross country and track and field. Most recently, he proudly served on the SDHSAA Board of Directors, helping shape opportunities of students statewide.
Trent credits his success and longevity in education to the incredible support of the communities he has served, as well as his wife, Nichol, and their family, who have always encouraged his commitment to working with and for the youth of South Dakota.
