Junior Kindergarten

Our Junior Kindergarten program (JRK) is free of charge to children. Children must be five years old by September 1st of the current school year to attend. Our junior kindergarten meets every afternoon from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

 

The junior kindergarten program provides a stepping stone between preschool and kindergarten.  It is designed to give children more time to reach their full potential before kindergarten.  Curriculum in this smaller class size continues readiness practice in language arts, math, handwriting, and social sciences.  We continue to use the Handwriting Without Tears program. They also participate in music class weekly.
