Justin PictureJustin Davis has served on the Ipswich Board of Education since 2010.  He is an Ipswich High School Graduate, received his BS in Ag Business from SDSU in 2000.  Justin worked for Prescription Agronomics in Ipswich for 5 years before returning to the family farm.  He served 6 years in the House of Representatives in the South Dakota Legislature, served 2 years as Vice-Chairman of the Ag and Natural Resources Committee and served on the Appropriations Committee for 2 years.  He is currently serving on the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council.  He is also a 10 year member of the Ipswich Fire Department and a past president of the Ipswich Commercial Club.  His wife, Courtney, and he have three children Ava, Brody, and Edy.

Todd H pictureTodd Hettich was elected to serve on the Ipswich School Board in June, 2017.  He is a graduate of Aberdeen Central.  He served in the USAF for 4 years as an Air Weapons Controller.  Thereafter, he worked for GTE & MIT in the Marshall Islands for 5 years tracking satellites and supporting missiles testing.  Todd currently works for a major information technology company in the Aerospace and Defense industry (25 years) as a director in the applications development field.  He holds three degrees:  MBA, BAM, and an IT technology degree.  Todd is married to Christina Hettich.  They have three energetic boys, Matthew, Tyler, and Kyle.

Carol pictureCarol Pond has served on the Ipswich School Board since 2011.   She graduated from Ipswich High School, received her BS in Accounting from NSU and obtained her CPA license.   She worked in Public Accounting and then as a Business Manager for 12 years before deciding to be a stay-at-home mom.  Carol currently helps on the family farm, is a part time bond accountant for the First State Bank of Roscoe and continues to do volunteer bookwork for the organizations she is involved in.  Carol and her husband, Noel, have four children, Megan, Cassius, Kristi and Benjamin.

Joseph Hoyle became a board member in July of 2024.  He graduated from Ipswich High School in 2004 before attending Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls for Marketing. He has worked for Agtegra since 2013 and has been in his current role as a grain marketing specialist since 2018. Joseph has a small grain farm operation west of Ipswich. He currently lives in Ipswich with his wife, Danielle, and their three children, Benjamin, William, and Abigail.

scott braun school board member Scott Braun graduated from Ipswich Public School in 2000.  He attended Lake Area and graduated with a degree in computer networking.  In 2003 Scott moved back to the family farm and started farming and ranching.  He and his wife, Stephanie, have four children.
